Gorges du Verdon at high peak season

Gorges du Verdon from Pont de Galetas, Alpes de Haute-Provence

I usually shoot early morning or late afternoon to catch the best light and also to avoid the crowd. For this photo, I did the opposite: in the middle of the afternoon in high season peak to get the most intense color of the water and show the crowd! I wanted to show the vivid beauty of Nature crushed by a pattern of tourist boats to produce something striking and eye catching.
