Valensole lavender field

I captured this photo of the famous lavender fields on the Valensole plateau in Provence just before sunset. The warm golden light of the setting sun was casting its rays on the beautiful purple fields creating a breathtakingly serene and peaceful atmosphere. I was in awe of the sheer size of the fields and the intricate rows of lavender. This photo truly represents the essence of the Provencal countryside at its finest.
