Top photo spots in Paris under the snow

Paris under the snow is so rare, so when the moment comes, the photographers are out to take the picture at the right time! But not that … Parisians like children enjoy this magical moment. Paris covers itself with its white coat and looks like a ski resort.

You will have to think about equipping yourself well, either on foot or in the subway and avoid two wheels. My scooter I leave it in the garage to avoid any accident!

You will find below some instagramable spots of Paris under the snow!

Le Sacré Cœur de Montmartre

If you need to take a photo of a spot I would advise you to put this one in your top 3. With its impressive architecture, the mound has a nice surprise in store for us with a breathtaking view of Paris. You will then have time to enjoy this moment under the snow and to be accompanied by a wine or hot chocolate! 🙂

In addition, take the opportunity to take a walk, you will discover small streets in the surroundings which are photogenic.

Below the “Pink House” and its pink facade that will give a touch of color to your photo.

Notre Dame de Paris and the Seine riverside

Seine docks are nice to take pictures of when they are well covered with snow. The square in front of Notre Dame de Paris is an ideal place as well. I was able to take a picture of it in January 2019, before the disaster.

La Tour Eiffel

La Tour Eiffel and Trocadero district are part of a breathtaking view when it snows in Paris. For the moment, I haven’t been able to take the pictures I wanted. La Tour Eiffel and the Champ de Mars being under renovation at the moment, I will have to wait before I can take the pictures I dream of doing.

Le Louvre and les Tuileries garden

Le Louvre and les Tuileries garden are obviously a must if it snows in Paris. On the Esplade du Caroussel and the Louvre, the snow does not hold and becomes muddy. I was able to take pictures of the Louvre under the snow twice in 2020 and 2019. Knowing that in 2018 I was not in Paris, but in Sri-Lanka.

Le pont Alexandre III and le Petit Palais

There are very few snowflakes in Paris, so you might as well walk around and discover the capital under its white coat. Here, we find le pont Alexandre III where the snow slips between the lampposts and sculptures, which makes this setting magical! It is certainly the most photogenic Paris bridge to take!

L’Arc de Triomphe and l’Avenue des Champs-Élysées

Most of the time it is the ideal spot to photograph. I was lucky enough to be able to take it with a great view of the whole square.

Whether by day or by night, it remains an incredible monument to capture.
