Seoul is a huge city (6 times bigger than central Paris for example). This is important to know in advance where to go and what to see since the city is offering a lot! One week there is not too much and will allow to enjoy the city without rushing everywhere.

Photo Spots I would recommend in Seoul are the following:

      Cheonggyecheon Stream

This is an 11 km long modern stream opened in 2005 that runs through downtown Seoul. Lots of photo opportunity there and a nice walk along the city.

      Design Plaza Dongdaemun

This huge complex inaugurated in 2014 proposes modern art exhibitions. It’s also very well-known for its architecture and innovative design. A half day is not enough to enjoy it

      Coex

There is a very impressive library inside of a mall. A must visit!

        N Seoul Tower

From this hill, you will see the best view of the entire city.  I wouldn’t recommend to go at the top of N Seoul Tower since the view from the hill is the same (without the reflection due to the glass window).

        Gyeongbokgung Palace

This is the “Forbidden Palace” of Korea. Definitely a must to visit. Don’t miss the changing of the guard! I would like to go back there during cherry blossom season. It looks very beautiful.

        Bukchon Hanok Village

Not very far from Gyeongbokgung Palace (15 minutes walk), this is a historic and emblematic district of Seoul with 600 years old buildings.

I would advise to go there early to avoid the crowd since the streets are narrow and the place touristy.

        Lotte World Tower

Lotte World Tower opened to the public on April 11, 2017 and is currently the 5th tallest building in the world. There is also an impressive mall and the world largest indoor theme park!

There is an observation deck at the top of Lotte World Tower. I haven’t got the chance to go there because of the weather but it seems to be interesting to have a look.
